Do You Want To See My Hop Fridge? – West Coast Farmhouse IPA van Dok Brewing Company

Do You Want To See My Hop Fridge? is a creative collaboration between Dok Brewing Company from Ghent and the renowned Danish brewery To Øl, which results in a surprising West Coast Farmhouse IPA (5.5% ABV). 

This unique IPA combines the classic bitterness of a West Coast IPA with the rustic, slightly samey feel of a farmhouse aleThe use of 25% unprocessed grains such as spelt and oats gives the beer a soft, natural body, while spicy accents of yarrow and meadowsweet create a Amaro-like bitterness and spicy complexity add. 

A selection of hops was chosen for the hop character Riwaka, Comet, Chinook and Columbus, which contributes to resinous, pine and citrus aromas that linger both fresh and bitter. 

Do You Want To See My Hop Fridge? is a perfect example of how innovative brewers dare to cross and innovate traditional styles — an IPA that is surprisingly accessible, yet audacious in taste and character.
